The toys in Amelia's dollhouse are distressed. She has planned a wonderful performance with them, but there's something sinister going on: the evil Punchinello has stolen the Flask of Imagination, without which the show cannot go on! The toys need a hero to lead them – but the Tin Soldiers are on manoeuvres, and only the youngest, the Little Tin Soldier, has been left behind.

How will Amelia and her toys succeed? Will the evil Punchinello succeed in ridding the world of imagination forever, rendering the toys to be just that – toys – or will the Little Tin Soldier and his ragtag group of friends save the day?

Lit by Limelight is a play for children with original music by Nick Choo, presented at Nexus Theatre, Perth, in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Children’s Theatre at Murdoch University.
